Reasons to book a session:

I have found that women often need an “excuse”, a reason, to book a Boudoir or Beauty/Glamour session. I guess that makes sense, if you think about it, because we are taught to put others first…to leave ourselves until the end.  Which brings me to Reason #1: YOU DESERVE IT! You deserve to feel special, to feel beautiful. Think about all the things you do for others….isn’t it time you did something for yourself?

That being said, if you are still looking for an excuse to schedule a session, I have put together a little list to help you out.

1. You deserve to be pampered –when is the last time you treated yourself?
2. Valentine’s Day
3. Christmas gift
4. Anniversary gift
5. His birthday (trust me – he would rather have an album of your gorgeous images than another tie)
6. Your birthday (do you have a milestone birthday coming up? Let’s celebrate it!)
7. Groom’s gift
8. “before baby” session – I have done quite a few sessions with ladies who are anticipating starting a family soon, and book a session to have to look back on in the future
9. Empty Nester session – have all your kids grown up and left the nest? Trust me, this will add a little “spice” to your back-to-the-two-of-us status ;)
10. Major Life change – some clients want to celebrate reaching a fitness or weight loss goal with a session that celebrates their transformation
11. Adventure – most women have never done anything like this, and it can be a bit intimidating. It requires being brave, and having courage…as well as having a bit of trust in your photographer. Some women see this as a way to throw caution to the wind, to see if they can do it, a personal “challenge”, if you will…

I will be there to help you and guide you, every step of the way. From what to wear to how to pose, I have you covered.  There is no experience required, and no judgement. When we get to the end of the day, and we are laughing together (which always ends up happening) you’ll wonder why you waited so long. And after you’ve seen your photos? Well, you won’t be the same again. It’s really an amazing experience…the confidence you’ll feel, the pride in yourself…there is nothing quite like it.
